How to Realize That Everything is One Being
Part of meditation is getting to know ourselves.
Not the person that we create ourselves to be but the person that is already here.
The thinking is always creating an idea of who we are. And because it is only a concept, it is only made of thoughts, the thinking has to keep reinforcing it.
So we keep identifying with certain stories, certain opinions, certain judgements, certain desires and worries.
We repeat the same thoughts and feelings so we can identify with them over and over and maintain this sense of person that is separate from everything else.
And thus we create a reality based on these thoughts.
The whole thing takes a lot of energy and a lot of stress. Because this ‘me’ we are creating is not something solid, it is something we are doing.
And it is an avoidance of what is really here of who we really are underneath.
And underneath, there still is a person.
But this person does not have any knowledge or opinions or understanding. This person does not feel in control. This person simply is. It is still deeply personal but this person simply is. It is not being created and maintained by our thinking. And from allowing this person to be completely and feeling that this person simply is, the being that is this person and the being that is everything becomes one being. It never was two separate beings but you realize that they are one being; you become aware that they are one.
And in this awareness that everything is one being, everything is perfectly okay. Everything is peace.
The most important part is to accept what is. Regardless of what is, regardless of what emotion, thought or experience you are having, if you can accept that it is and allow it to be, then the content of your experience will not matter.
What will matter is that it is.
When you allow what is, then everything is felt as the same is-ness. Everything simply is.
It’s all one is-ness. One being.
That discomfort is, pleasure is, pain is, happiness is, you are, the universe is, it is all the same is-ness. It is all one is-ness.
When you allow what is to be then it is all felt as one being; one consciousness, one existence.
And the nature of this one consciousness is peace, is bliss, is love. It is infinite goodness and when you feel that infinite goodness then everything comes right.
